LEARN YIN YOGA ONLINE
Would you like to learn how to teach Yin yoga? Yin has become an incredibly popular practice over the years and more and more people are seeking out a way to relax and bring balance into their lives. I have been teaching Yin yoga in Glasgow for 8 years and have seen the need and popularity of this practice increase tenfold.
So come and join me for these online yin teacher training immersive weekends and dive deep into the world of Yin. Each course is designed to lead into the next ... starting with the Fundamentals of Teaching Yin Yoga. The fundamentals course must be taken before any of the other courses, as this sets the foundation for understanding the principles behind the practice, as well as the poses themselves, it is also designed to help you build and establish a steady home practice. Yoga is primarily experiential and cannot be learnt just from a book so a lot of emphasis is based upon establishing a regular routine for practice and journaling your experience.
Following on from the Fundamentals course is Anatomy of Yin Yoga, this is where we go deeper in the physical body, looking at the joints, skeletal variations, fascial system etc...you can read more about what's involved here. If anatomy is an area where you feel a bit rusty you will get a lot from this course, it will help you build a good solid understanding of the physical body and apply it to your practice and teaching.
We then move towards the energetic body as we take a look at Anatomy of Moving Energy - The Dao and Meridian Theory. Looking at the philosophy of Daoism and how this relates to yin practice, specifically the meridians. You will learn about each of the 5 meridian pairs and have access to online practices for each pair. You will also learn how the fascial system relates to the Meridians and about how these lines are formed in the body.
Upon successful completion of each course along with the homework required you will receive your Yoga Alliance 20/10 hour certificate which you can use as CPD (YACEP) hours and upload to your Yoga Alliance account and training hours. If you undertake the full 50 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training course you will receive your Yin Yoga 50 Hour Certification which can be registered with both the Yoga Alliance USA and Yoga Alliance Professionals, in addition you will be added to the teacher list on my website.
